The Circuit Leadership Team

Circuit ministry and leadership is shared collaboratively within the Circuit Leadership Team, comprising the ordained Ministers, Lay Workers and Circuit Stewards, led by the Superintendent Minister. Policy is decided by the Circuit Meeting which works closely with each local church. Each local church has one of the Ordained Ministers in pastoral charge, with its own lay leadership and church council. A Circuit Steward sits on each Church Council, and they also have care of the Ministers, manses, circuit property and finances. The Circuit Leadership Team meets monthly and the Circuit Meeting usually meets four times a year. The members of the Circuit Meeting act as Managing Trustees for the Circuit, and the members of each Church Council do the same for each church.
