Children, Families and Youth (Infusion)

COVID 19 ACTIVITIES

In the current situation, the Infusion Team are doing their best in order to adapt so that some form of our gatherings and activities can continue in order to serve the children, young people and families within the West Devon area. As these are unknown times, we are trialling ideas and are open to suggestions so please do get in touch if you have any thoughts.

Please see some of the activities we are currently running below!

DESCRIPTION

Sunday Slot is an opportunity for children and families to engage with each other on a Sunday. The session includes a story, some singing and dancing and some activities that you can complete from the comfort of your own home. Families can log in at 9:50am and we will officially start at 10am and the session usually finishes by 10:45am.

As this group includes children, we require consent. Therefore, you need to email info@infusionwestdevon.org and we will send you a quick consent form. Once completed and returned, we will add you to the mailing list to receive the links to join in each week.

DESCRIPTION

Winkleigh Churches Together, Halwill Churches Together and Infusion are working together to bring the families of Halwill and Winkleigh a ‘Creative Station’.

During the closure of the schools, there will be a variety of bundles of FREE resources and treats for families to collect, engage with, explore and enjoy in their own homes. These resources will be free and are designed for primary school-aged children, to help families to reflect on topics and themes.

HOW DO I JOIN IN?

If you live in Winkleigh, keep an eye on the Winkleigh Methodist and Winkleigh Mission Community Facebook Pages to find out collection times from the Winkleigh Vicarage, Torrington Road.

If you live in Halwill, keep an eye on the Infusion Facebook Page to find out collection times from the Post Office.

To facilitate these activities, when they include children and young people, we require consent. If you've already completed a consent form with us, you will have received an email asking you to update it as we need you to consent to additional points as we're obviously working slightly differently. If you have not already completed the consent form, or haven't received the email, email the email address linked to the event and we can set that up for you.

To find out more about how we are facilitating these events online, please see our Zoom Policy that explains generally how we make the event happen. This will obviously vary slightly for each event but it will give you an overview of what to expect.
